super useful, can't wait for more new features!
not a fan of this branch. the original line worked fine up and until bonk 1016, but things started to get unstable after that, and then they decided to start this "fork" project, and it all went downhill from there.first, there should be a clear feature and capability comparison between what bonk 1016 had and what this "fork" offers, so people know if they are losing any features, and also know what new / unique / modified features to test for stability and functionality.second, the download size is more than double that of bonk 1016. what are you giving us for that double size? anything worth having?what is this "fork" trying to be? are you an encoder and converter? are you a music library? are you a video download program? what the heck are you trying to accomplish with this?also, development is so sluggish it's almost stagnant. you've been left in the dust by lots of other programs that do much of what you are trying to do and they do it a whole lot better.throw onto the pile all of those bugs going on and you have a product not even worth trying.skip this "fork" and go with the standard program instead.
whatever people keep saying that any other free or not-so-free suite is just as good seems a tad silly to me. there is nothing that comes even close to the quality level that ms office offers. there is no tool that can make presentations as good, or allows one to write and handle documents as good.windows sucks? might be. but in my opinion they got it right with the office, it was good before 2007, it was amazing with 2007 release and 2010 just continues the awesomeness.
simply the best tools for tagging. so easy to usei think mp3tag is so overrated compared to this.
cool, but feel that the boot stuff should be able to read/write ntfs natively, handle partitioning of large volumes in both fat 32 and ntfs and be fairly smart about memory management like dos 5.x and 6.x were.still, at least it's out there and it works. :)
thanks. i can indeed confirm the newest update fixes it.
nearly 400 meg for a burner? (crazy)why nero have continued to bloat out their software for many years eludes me.
this was great back when windows xp came out. its now 2010 and we are now in the age of windows 7. this software needs a major update or google needs to kill it. i already have desktop search and gadgets built in to windows 7 and someone needs to let google know that the sidebar is dead. however i would love to have something that would display my gmail count, my google agenda, and tasks on the desktop similar to outlook's to do bar. please update this old software google, please!
i hardly ever try out these type programs that cost money, but i was intrigued because of the interface (icons/colors, etc.). like another reviewer, i doubt i'd pay for it when there's so many free ones out there that do the same thing. i've tried them all...i'm after the perfect one! one thing it doesn't seem to have that all the free/shareware ones have is there is no a way to "snooze" the alarms. another thing was that i had to go to the "properties" to edit it...too many clicks; a right-click would suffice.i also couldn't create a new note from the table view--had to click on "new note" icon and the only way to create a task was to create a note first. the one thing it had that i absolutely loved was the database view so i can see all the notes/tasks in a table which was sorted easily, but i didn't see a filter (only today's tasks/notes or a week/month). i'm definitely going to continue to evaluate it to be sure i'm correct in my first experiences with it and that i didn't miss something. it has potential, but i think i'd be more willing to donate money to the program creators versus buying it. the interface gets a 5 (i love seeing my notes in list form.), however, these little annoyances bring it down for my rating.
