the provided link for the official seamonkey project website needs to be changed.the proper url is ... ... meanwhile, here is anothertop quality release of the mozilla based browser with a not dumbed down gui,and a common sense version number, not in a race with any other browser.

setpoint version 4.x forgot about the horizontal scroll from my lx3 mouse.rather than re-install v4 from th cd that came with the mouse, i downloaded 6.32.worked fine for a couple of hours. then, mouse clicks had no effect. skipping details about floundering around, i alt-tabbed my way into an editor (emacs), and discovered the editor was receiving repeated keypad-leftarrow input.rebooting made the problem go away for a couple of hours. i did this several times. one time, the repeating imaginary keystroke was keypad-rightarrow, another time there was no apparent imaginary input.i unplugged the keyboard, which had no effect.i uninstalled setpoint v6, and the problem has not recurred in several hours of running.true, the pathology could be in some other software that somehow reaches into setpoint's data.i'm running with no setpoint, which means there is no horizontal scroll, which is why i bought the lx3.(i have two theories: windows resents the logitech mouse, and attacks it. or logitech resents my ibm keyboard, and fabricates bogus keystrokes.)

seems to me adobe has been opening up more security holes with the addition of all the new bells and whistles since version 11.2. i mean, come on, look at the size increase since version 11.2. i've gone back to flash 11.2, and then deleted all the unnecessary flash files, including most all in the documents and settings folder and all the ones in the system32 folder. everything else is now write protected(after flash settings made, including custom settings made in the mms.cfg file). any new files created in the doc & settings folder(mainly flash cookies) are being deleted with ccleaner.btw, flash 11.5 was causing notable crash problems in firefox for me, so don't know if this new 11.6 version resolves it, since i won't be trying it. don't know about internet explorer. haven't used ie in ages.2 stars for this version and probably all future versions, 4 stars for version 11.2

what in the &^$#^#@!! are all you "1 star" people talking about?? if anything the pc media player started off great, then after ripping 200 of my 700 cds it could not "find" my media library! after over two weeks of fiddling and no fix in sight, i downloaded itunes. zero problems...700 cds ripped with better sound quality and rips cds 2+xs faster than microsoft player. only 4 stars because after leaving the app open continuously, after about three days i have to restart it. :-( otherwise it works great...i have 45 playlists, 7,000+ songs, 28 days of music. the user i/f/ could look better. all this and it syncs with my wife's iphone. as a result of such a positive experience, i am migrating from pc-->mac and trading in my crackberry for an iphone, and possible an ipad. so that's why apple stock is so high and microsoft is struggling...

after a good tryout, i'm sticking with norton av 2013 for the next six months which i got for significantly increases start-up time but once loaded seems to run very lightly and has minimal impact on resources. it has a nice new metro-like interface. constant updates.most reputable test sites rate norton very highly - usually in the top 3 av's.
